Matthew Cavallaro (on left) was born into a Sicilian family and spent much of his youth fishing and boating with his Grandfather.


It came as no surprise to the family when he chose a career path as a marine mechanic and technician in 2009.

After years of working on boats, he took over Cav’s Marine where he began taking on dealerships to grow the profit margin and keep the business sustainable. It was during this time he found his passion for selling quality vessels and developed a true appreciation for luxury yachts.


Power Yachts Australia was formed when they identified that there was a market for luxury hull outboard powered yachts that was not currently being catered to in Australia.
